As "the farmer," at the pulse of the times
I recently had the wonderful opportunity to be part of an exciting film project: ZEITGEIST, a short film production by D4M Entertainment, directed by Denise de Buigne. In this gripping work, I got to play the role of the farmer — a character deeply rooted in a world of change, searching for his place between progress and tradition.
A production with heart, depth, and vision
ZEITGEIST is no ordinary short film. It combines current social themes with a gripping plot and strong characters. The screenplay — written by Denise de Buigne and Martin Ajtnik — manages to speak to both emotion and intellect. With a fantastic cast and a highly motivated crew, the film became a true collaborative project full of passion and creativity.
My character: The Farmer
As "the farmer" in ZEITGEIST, I represent a world increasingly being overtaken by technological progress — yet one that remains an important voice in the social discourse. This role was not only enjoyable to play, it also made me reflect: on where we come from, on responsibility, and on the value of staying grounded in an ever-faster world.
Filming at special locations
Filming took place at locations including the Mittelschule Preding, the atmospheric setting of the Stainzer Flascherlzug, as well as several other lovingly chosen sites in the region. It was especially heartwarming to see how many people contributed behind the scenes to make this project possible — whether by providing locations, culinary support, or technical equipment.
A big thank-you
My personal thanks go to the entire team at D4M Entertainment, all my fellow cast members, and everyone who supported us behind the scenes. And, of course, a little shout-out to "the farmer" in me — I hope he stays part of my acting journey for a long time to come.
